The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is offering a funding opportunity aimed at enhancing national epidemiologic, surveillance, research, and laboratory capacities in the Kingdom of Eswatini to support a sustainable response to HIV, tuberculosis, and related public health threats under the PEPFAR initiative. The program seeks to partner with the Government of Eswatini to strengthen public health systems, focusing on areas such as outbreak detection, epidemic modeling, and laboratory service improvements. With an estimated total funding of $5.5 million for the first year and the potential for one to two awards over a five-year period, eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations operating within Eswatini. Interested parties must submit their applications by March 5, 2025, and can direct inquiries to Emily Dale at pepfarfoas@cdc.gov.
