The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is forecasting a cooperative agreement opportunity aimed at implementing combination prevention solutions to achieve epidemic control among high-risk populations in South Africa under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This initiative seeks to provide evidence-based interventions, including HIV Testing Services (HTS), Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and various behavioral and clinical support measures, particularly targeting adolescents and young people in workplaces, schools, and communities. The program is aligned with the South Africa HIV National Strategic Plan and is expected to allocate approximately $25 million in funding for the first fiscal year, with an anticipated award date of September 30, 2025. Interested applicants can reach out to Emily Dale at (404) 639-8880 or via email at pepfarfoas@cdc.gov for further information, with applications due by February 17, 2025.
