The United States Embassy in Nassau, The Bahamas, seeks proposals for installing a CCTV system at a U.S. Government property in Nassau. Bidders must be technically qualified, financially responsible, and meet specific requirements, including SAM registration, English proficiency, established business presence, necessary resources, local licenses and insurance, a clean criminal record, and no adverse affiliations. Non-Bahamian companies must be registered to do business in The Bahamas and have a Bahamian TIN. The project involves supplying all labor, materials, tools, and equipment for CCTV installation, including site preparation, camera installation (12 outdoor-rated IP cameras), cabling, power (PoE), configuration, system integration, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive documentation. All work must comply with various federal and international codes and standards, including NFPA 70, TIA/EIA-568B, IEEE 802.3, EN 62676-4, NEMA 4X/IP66/IK10, ONVIF Profiles S and T, UL 62368-1, UL CAP, U.S. Department of State OBO Design Guidelines, and NDAA Section 889 and TAA Compliance. Contractors are responsible for all materials, labor, site confirmation, damage rectification, cleanup, and disposal. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with electronic payment within 30 days of project completion. Proposals must include proof of SAM registration, pricing (separate line items for labor, materials, and VAT), supervisor and worker qualifications, past performance details, references, and proof of Bahamian registration and TIN. A site visit is scheduled for December 17, 2025, with proposals due by December 29, 2025.
