The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide non-emergent wheelchair transportation services for veterans through a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at the Togus VA Medical Center in Maine. This contract, set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), will cover a five-year period and requires services from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, including transportation to and from the Togus facility and various Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) across the state. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring patient welfare during transit, adhering to quality control standards, and managing all logistics related to transportation, including vehicles and personnel.
