Solicitation Notice: State Department of the United States is seeking preventive maintenance and servicing of elevators in Conakry, Guinea. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the elevators in safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition. This includes providing trained personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, repair parts, supplies, and materials necessary for inspection, maintenance, repair, and component replacement. The contractor will also be required to provide emergency response service, same-day service for elevator malfunctions, and after-hours emergency minor adjustment callback service. The contract will also cover labor rates for billable work and the procurement of spare parts. The contractor will be expected to follow a specific maintenance checklist and schedule. The services will be performed during normal building hours, and the contractor will be required to comply with government building access and conduct standards. The contractor will also be responsible for scheduled routine maintenance, trouble call response service, and providing trained personnel, tools, repair parts, materials, and supplies. The contract excludes certain items such as car enclosures, buried caissons, and major repairs exceeding $3,000. The contractor will be required to obtain permits and comply with local laws. A quality assurance and surveillance plan will be implemented to monitor contractor performance.
