The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is announcing a funding opportunity titled "Community Based Participatory Research To Advance DAta and Practice Transformation (ADAPT) For Optimizing Oral Health For All Across the Lifespan," aimed at soliciting cooperative agreement research applications. This initiative seeks to evaluate, implement, and test population-based interventions that promote the integration of services and address social and chronic disease risk factors contributing to oral health disparities in communities. The funded projects will form a Community-Based Participatory Research Consortium, collaborating with the NIH Community Engagement Alliance and the Science Collaborative for Health Disparities and Artificial Intelligence Reduction of Errors platform. Interested applicants, particularly small businesses with expertise in population-based interventions, should prepare for the application process, which is expected to open following the estimated synopsis post date of July 3, 2025, with a closing date of October 7, 2025.
