The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is offering a funding opportunity for technical assistance to support the Botswana Ministry of Health (MOH) in implementing policies and programs across the HIV clinical and prevention cascade under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The initiative aims to enhance HIV and tuberculosis (TB) response efforts, focusing on capacity building, case-finding, prevention, and care continuity, while addressing health inequities among priority populations in Botswana, which has a high HIV prevalence rate of 20.8%. Eligible applicants include all types of organizations, with local partners receiving additional consideration in the selection process. The total expected funding for the first year is $7.5 million, with applications due by February 19, 2025. Interested parties can contact Emily Dale at pepfarfoas@cdc.gov for further information.
