The Department of Energy, through the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), is seeking qualified rigging service providers to support the Far Detector & Cryogenics (FDC) subproject of the Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility/Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (LBNF/DUNE-US) in Lead, South Dakota. The selected subcontractor will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials necessary for the installation of cryostats, detectors, and supporting infrastructure, which are critical for advancing neutrino physics research. This project is significant as it aims to establish the world's highest-intensity neutrino beam and facilitate groundbreaking studies in neutrino science and proton decay. Interested parties should submit an Expression of Interest to Bridget Fugett at bridget@fnal.gov by the anticipated solicitation posting in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, with the contract expected to be awarded in August 2025 for a performance period extending through September 2026, including options for two additional years.
