    Request for Information (RFI) Industrial High Temperature Pack Ovens (2) - DEPT OF DEFENSE, DEPT OF THE ARMY

    The DEPT OF DEFENSE, DEPT OF THE ARMY is seeking information on two high temperature pack ovens with specific requirements. These ovens are typically used for industrial purposes and are capable of maintaining a working temperature range of 50-400 Deg C, with a specific requirement of maintaining 310C for 96+ hours. The ovens should have chamber dimensions of 18"Wx18"Dx18"H and 12"Wx12"Dx12"H, with power requirements of 208V Single Phase- 3000W and 1000W respectively. They should also have over temperature protection with independent over temperature protection circuit including a separate high alarm digital temperature controller, magnetic contactor, and independent thermocouples.

    The ovens should have standard features such as a controller with single ramp to set-point & process timer, robust construction, excellent performance & reliability, and a stainless steel liner with stainless steel perforated shelves. The technical specifications include a maximum temperature of 400°C, a minimum temperature of Ambient +60°C, a volume of 28/94 liters, temperature stability of ±0.5°C, temperature uniformity of ±5.0°C, heat-up time of 60 minutes, and recovery time of 10 minutes.

    The dimensions of Oven #1 should be 305 x 305 x 305 mm (12”x12”x12”) internally and 880 x 675 x 885 mm externally. Oven #2 should have dimensions of 455 x 455 x 455 mm (18”x18”x18”) internally and 1010 x 880 x 1120 mm externally. The shelf loading for each oven should be 10 kg, with a total of 20 kg. The maximum power for Oven #1 should be 1000W and for Oven #2 should be 3000W.
