The Department of Defense, through the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Far East, is seeking qualified contractors for a significant alteration project at the United States Naval Hospital (USNH) in Yokosuka, Japan. The project aims to renovate critical medical facilities, including the Emergency Department, Inpatient Pharmacy, Radiology, Sterile Processing Department, Surgery Suites, and Laboratory, to enhance operational flow and functionality. This Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction initiative, with an estimated value between $100 million and $250 million, consists of three packages focusing on electrical infrastructure upgrades and alterations to medical buildings, with completion timelines ranging from 576 to 1,488 calendar days.
