The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) for the "Indigenous Peoples and Afro-Colombian (IPAC) Activity," aimed at enhancing the self-determined development of Indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities in Colombia over a five-year period from 2021 to 2026. The initiative focuses on strengthening the capacity of ethnic organizations, improving socio-economic opportunities, and promoting respect for cultural diversity, particularly in regions affected by violence, poverty, and the COVID-19 pandemic. With an anticipated budget of $50 to $70 million, the program emphasizes partnerships with local organizations and aims to support the implementation of the Ethnic Chapter of the Peace Agreement. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their feedback by September 3, 2020, to Yessica Lagos at ylagos@usaid.gov, as responses will help refine the program's objectives and strategies.
