The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) for its upcoming research initiatives under the Feed the Future Innovation Labs. The primary objectives of this RFI are to gather insights on improving the genetics and management of perennial crops, enhancing climate-resilient and nutritious vegetable crops, and integrating effective water, land, and soil management practices. This initiative is crucial for addressing food security challenges, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, by fostering sustainable agricultural practices and engaging stakeholders such as implementing partners, NGOs, and local organizations. Responses to the RFI are due by January 22, 2025, and should be submitted via email to ftfresearch@usaid.gov. For further inquiries, interested parties can contact Kyle Davis at kydavis@usaid.gov.
