Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) of the U.S. Department of Justice is inviting applications for the FY25 COPS Blue Alert Program, aimed at enhancing the nationwide Blue Alert system designed to protect law enforcement officers. The program seeks to support states participating in the National Blue Alert Network, raise awareness, and provide educational resources about the network, while also compiling accurate information on incidents involving law enforcement officers injured or killed in the line of duty. This cooperative agreement has a funding ceiling of $150,000, with applications due by June 24, 2025. Eligible Applicants
This solicitation is open to all public governmental agencies, for-profit (commercial) organizations, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, community groups, and faith-based organizations. For-profit organizations (as well as other recipients) must forgo any profit or management fee.
