The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is offering a cooperative agreement for formative research focused on community-led primary prevention approaches to address the elevated risk of intimate partner violence (IPV) and sexual violence (SV). This funding opportunity aims to build the evidence base for preventing IPV and SV, particularly in communities at higher risk, including racial/ethnic minorities, sexual and gender minorities, and individuals with disabilities. The selected projects will conduct formative and implementation evaluations, including pilot studies to assess the efficacy of prevention strategies, with a total estimated funding of $2,250,000 available for up to two awards, each with a ceiling of $375,000. Interested applicants must submit their proposals electronically by December 2, 2024, and can direct inquiries to Mikel Walters at ncipc_erpo@cdc.gov.
