The Department of Energy is preparing to solicit bids for the Design/Build Construction of the Stable Isotope Science and Engineering Laboratory (SISEL) at the Pacific Northwest Laboratory in Richland, Washington. This project entails the construction of a 15,000 gross square feet research laboratory and associated support spaces, following a two-step, best value source selection process with a firm fixed price contract. The construction is significant for advancing research capabilities in stable isotope science, and the performance period is scheduled from February 3, 2025, to August 24, 2026, with compliance to Davis-Bacon Wage Provisions.
