The Department of Transportation, through the Federal Highway Administration, is seeking contractors for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of parking lots and access routes at the Horsetooth and Carter Lake Reservoirs in Larimer County, Colorado. The project aims to enhance vehicular and pedestrian access while improving safety for over one million annual visitors to these federally owned facilities. The anticipated contract, valued between $10 million and $20 million, is set to be advertised in October 2024, with an award expected in December 2024 and construction scheduled from April 2025 through November 2026.
