The Department of Defense, specifically the Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal, is conducting a Market Survey to assess industry interest and capabilities in producing Composite Rubber Tracks (CRT) for heavy combat vehicles, particularly the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV). The survey aims to gather information on manufacturers' capabilities, experience with CRT production, design modifications, testing experience, and business practices related to government contracting, as part of the planning for a potential future acquisition. The CRT system is crucial for upgrading existing track systems used in military applications, ensuring enhanced performance and reliability in combat scenarios. Responses to the Market Survey are voluntary and must be submitted by 5:00 pm EST on November 29, 2024, with inquiries directed to Dale Pement at DALE.L.PEMENT.CIV@ARMY.MIL or Natalie O'Reilly at natalie.m.oreilly2.civ@army.mil.
