The State Department of the United States, specifically the Embassy in Mexico, has issued a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation notice for the reupholstering of living room sets. This service is typically used to repair and refurbish furniture, ensuring its longevity and maintaining its aesthetic appeal. The reupholstering will involve 40 sets of living rooms, using flame-resistant fabric as specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The work is to be performed in Mexico City, Mexico. The contractor is expected to commence work within ten days of contract award. The solicitation/contract will adhere to all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-01. The acquisition process will follow FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The award will be granted to the responsible offeror with the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Offerors must provide complete information about the items being quoted, including descriptive literature, owner's manual, maintenance procedures, and technical datasheets, as applicable. The items must meet the minimum quality standards of the industry and any additional quality standards specified in the SOW. They should also include the minimum warranty standards required by the industry and any other warranties stated in the SOW. The contract will be subject to various FAR clauses and DOSAR provisions/clauses, including those related to whistleblower protections, labor rights, energy efficiency, and trade agreements. All offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Offers are due by March 12th, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
