Open Broad Agency Announcement DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE NAVY
The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Navy, has issued a Special Notice for a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Aerospace science research. This BAA focuses on weapons and aerospace technologies that directly support naval science and technology requirements for joint strike warfare involving air superiority and precision attack, as well as air and surface battle space requirements of joint littoral aircraft involving aircraft, naval surface fire support, and ship self-defense.
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), is seeking proposals for this BAA. However, a formal Request for Proposals (RFP) will not be issued, and NAWCWD will not provide funding for direct reimbursement of proposal development costs. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
Interested parties must submit written responses by email or mail to the designated points of contact no later than September 30, 2024. Contractors must also be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO.
It is important to note that entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM) must have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration. Failure to comply may result in delays in processing the registration and potential ineligibility for federal assistance opportunities.
For more information and specific details regarding this BAA, interested parties can refer to Attachment 1 provided in the announcement.
