    Description

    Sources Sought VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF is seeking potential sources for the Modernize & Expand Specialty Care Procedure Center, Building 1-3S at the San Diego VA Medical Center. This project involves completely renovating one half of the south wing of the third floor of Building 1 to construct a new expanded specialty procedure center and ambulatory specialty clinic. The unit will support and house GI, Bronchoscopy, Dermatology, and Pain Clinic services, including biopsies and chemotherapy. The project includes demolishing 10,000 sf of existing space, removing asbestos fireproofing, infilling light wells and exterior balconies, constructing a new fire smoke barrier, replacing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and utilities, installing new interior walls and finishes, and addressing MEP/FCA requirements. The project aims to meet VHA PG18-9 Space Planning Criteria and VA Design guide standards. The estimated duration of the project is 265 calendar days.
