    This federal procurement notice is a sources sought announcement for the procurement of wheelchair and car transportation services for the San Diego Healthcare System of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The purpose of this announcement is to conduct market research and identify potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses capable of providing the required services.

    The San Diego Healthcare System requires wheeled and hired car transportation services for Veteran patients of the main Veteran Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) and Community Based Out-Patient Clinics (CBOC's). The contractor will be responsible for providing these services 24/7, including holidays, as requested by the Government.

    Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Veteran-owned companies must also register in the SBA.gov online database to be considered for contract award.

    All interested vendors should submit their information by email to lorenza.gammage@va.gov no later than 10:00 am Pacific Time on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. After reviewing the responses, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and may publish a subsequent solicitation.

    By providing wheelchair and car transportation services, this procurement aims to ensure convenient and accessible transportation for Veteran patients of the San Diego Healthcare System.
