The Department of Defense, through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy, intends to award a sole source contract for contractor-owned, contractor-operated (COCO) fuel storage services at Port Mahon, Delaware. The contract will provide essential services for receiving, protecting, and shipping U.S. Government-owned Turbine Aviation Fuel, Grade Jet-A, and transferring it to Dover Air Force Base via a contractor-furnished pipeline system, with an annual throughput requirement of 820,000 barrels. This procurement is critical for ensuring uninterrupted support for the jet fuel needs of DLA Energy customers at Dover AFB.
