The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is seeking labor and materials for the renovation of the Burn Cell Complex at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. This project aims to remove and replace fire-damaged materials within training cells used for fire investigation training, which includes eight Burn Cells, two Flashover Cells, and a Multi-Room Burn Building. Key objectives include the timely tear-out of existing structures, installation of new materials such as gypsum board and flooring, and ensuring the facilities meet ATF’s training standards. The contractor must supply all necessary labor, tools, and materials, maintaining a clean work area and complying with safety regulations, particularly those established by OSHA and EPA. Specific tasks involve replacing structural elements, installing utilities and fixtures, and managing debris disposal. Additionally, contractor personnel must undergo background checks and maintain security protocols while on the National Emergency Training Center property.
