The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, is seeking qualified sources capable of providing unplanned drydock support for the USCGC SPAR (WLB 206) in Duluth, Minnesota, on Lake Superior. Work required under this project includes a major inspection and repair of the oil distribution box, controllable pitch propeller system maintenance, propeller blade removal and installation, propulsion shaft seal overhauls, and towing services. Contractors must secure an Original Equipment Manufacturer technical representative from Rolls Royce to oversee critical propeller disassembly and inspection, with key inspection reports due within the first 25 percent of the contract period.
