The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service is preparing to solicit proposals for the GAOA Bessey Group Electrical project, which involves the removal and replacement of existing RV pedestals and associated electrical systems at two campgrounds in the Nebraska National Forest. The contractor will be tasked with replacing ten RV pedestals in the Group Campground and eleven in the Cedar Loop Campground with new 50-amp pedestals, ensuring improved electrical service for visitors. This project is significant for enhancing the infrastructure of the campgrounds, contributing to the overall visitor experience in the national forest. The anticipated contract, valued between $250,000 and $500,000, is set to be awarded as a Firm Fixed-Price contract, with a projected performance period from March 3, 2025, to May 16, 2025.
