The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) is offering the Alaska Native-Serving and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions Education Competitive Grants Program (ANNH) to enhance educational capacities at eligible institutions for Fiscal Year 2025. This program aims to promote educational equity, strengthen institutional capabilities, and prepare students for careers in food and agricultural sciences, with a total funding pool of approximately $5.49 million available for awards ranging from $150,000 to $1.5 million. Eligible applicants must be designated as Alaska Native-Serving or Native Hawaiian-Serving institutions, and applications will be evaluated based on their potential impact and alignment with strategic educational goals. Eligible Applicants
Eligibility Requirements Applicants for the Alaska Native-Serving and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions Education Competitive Grants Program (ANNH) must meet all the requirements discussed in this RFA. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria by the application deadline may result in exclusion from consideration or, preclude NIFA from making an award. For the purpose of ANNH, an eligible institution means an individual public or private, nonprofit Alaska Native-Serving and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions of higher education that meet the definitions of Alaska-Serving Institutions or Native Hawaiian-Serving Institution established in Title III, Part A of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (20 U.S.C. 1059d).
