Description

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is offering grants to enhance culturally specific services for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This program aims to support existing successful services in community-based programs that provide culturally specific services, as well as develop innovative strategies and projects to improve access to services and resources for victims facing obstacles to traditional services. The grant opportunity is open to private nonprofit/tribal organizations whose primary purpose is to provide culturally specific services to American Indians, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders, Blacks, and Hispanics in the United States or U.S. territories. The grant does not require cost sharing or matching. The total program funding is estimated to be $22,500,000, with an award ceiling of $450,000 and an award floor of $400,000.
