The Administration for Children and Families - Office of Family Violence Prevention and Services (ACF-OFVPS) is forecasting a funding opportunity titled "Capacity Building and Program Technical Assistance for Family Violence Prevention and Services Act Formula Grantees." This initiative aims to award three cooperative agreements to qualified technical assistance providers who will deliver targeted training and support to state and territory administrators, tribes, and coalitions involved in family violence prevention services. The selected recipients will form a consortium to enhance the capacity of FVPSA formula recipients through the dissemination of regulations, best practices, and the development of partnerships, thereby strengthening the overall effectiveness of family violence prevention efforts. The estimated total program funding is $1.5 million, with individual awards ranging from $300,000 to $330,000, and applications are due by May 1, 2025. Eligible Applicants
Eligible entities for the Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grants: Capacity Building and Program Technical Assistance for Family Violence Prevention and Services Act Formula Grantees are national, tribal, statewide, or other nonprofit organizations. Eligible applicants must have the capacity to provide training and technical assistance and develop resources on a national level. Each entity in the consortium must have a demonstrated history of providing capacity building to states, tribes and/or domestic violence coalitions. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity. Faith-based organizations may apply for this award on the same basis as any other organization, as set forth at and, subject to the protections and requirements of 45 CFR Part 87 and 42 U.S.C. 2000bb et seq., ACF will not, in the selection of recipients, discriminate against an organization on the basis of the organization's religious character, affiliation, or exercise.
