Indian Highway Safety Law Enforcment Grant

The Office of Justice Services is offering Indian Highway Safety Tribal Grants for Fiscal Year 2027. This session, scheduled for April 18, 2026, at the Baltimore Convention Center, is highly recommended for federally recognized Tribes interested in applying for Law Enforcement, Occupant Protection, and/or Highway Safety Specialist grants. Participants will receive comprehensive guidance on federal regulations, grant application requirements, including completing the application, developing problem identification statements, crafting effective strategies, compiling traffic safety statistics, and understanding submission deadlines. Eligibility is limited to tribal employees working for federally recognized tribes in traffic safety. Grant awards will cover travel expenses and conference registration fees.
