The Bureau of Land Management is offering a cooperative agreement for the FY24 IIJA/IRA program in New Mexico. This opportunity is centered around the procurement of Cooperative Inspection Agreements with States and Tribes. These agreements are typically used for conducting inspections on the Nation's land, specifically for oil and gas lease inspections and enforcement. Only the BLM or a member of the tribal Nation are authorized to perform these inspections. The Navajo Nation and the Jicarilla Apache Nation are the only eligible applicants for this announcement. Nonfederally Recognized Native American Tribal Organizations are eligible to apply as well. The funding for this program is estimated to be $1,500,000, with an award ceiling of $1,200,000 and an award floor of $400,000. The application deadline is May 15, 2024, and electronically submitted applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. ET on that date. Extensions to the deadline will not be allowed, except in extenuating circumstances. For more information, contact Sheri Dowley at
