The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is soliciting proposals for the RESTORE Science Program, focusing on long-term trends in the Gulf of Mexico's natural resources. This initiative aims to fund collaborative research projects that identify, track, and predict trends and variability in these resources, emphasizing partnerships among researchers, resource managers, and stakeholders. Approximately $17.5 million is available to support about six projects, with individual awards ranging from $1 million to $4 million over five years. Interested applicants must submit a Letter of Intent by May 23, 2024, and full proposals by August 22, 2024. For further details, contact Caitlin Young at caitlin.young@noaa.gov or 631-415-7095.
