The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is soliciting proposals for the Coastal Zone Management Projects of Special Merit Competition for FY2025, aimed at supporting innovative projects that enhance coastal management strategies in areas of national importance such as coastal hazards, ocean and Great Lakes resources, and wetlands. Eligible applicants must be states or territories with federally-approved Coastal Management Programs (CMPs) and must have an approved 2021-2025 Section 309 Assessment and Strategy that aligns with the identified national priorities. Approximately $1.5 million in funding is available, with individual awards ranging from $50,000 to $250,000, and applications must be submitted by January 17, 2025.
