Dear Interested Applicants: The United States Agency for International Development’s Mission to Vietnam (USAID/Vietnam) is gathering information to design the anticipated USAID Strengthening Local Health Security Activity. This potential five-year award, with a potential funding of up to $21.5 million, aims to strengthen Vietnam’s capacity at the subnational levels to effectively prevent, detect, and respond to epidemic-prone emerging infectious diseases through One Health approaches to achieve Global Health Security (GHS) targets. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit any feedback from capable and interested organizations on the draft Program Description. USAID welcomes any relevant feedback and comments that applicants may wish to share. This is a Request for Information Only. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it is not a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue any notice of funding opportunity, or, ultimately, award an assistance agreement on the basis of this RFI, or to pay for any information voluntarily submitted as a result of this request. Furthermore, USAID is not at this time seeking applications and will not accept unsolicited applications. Responses to this RFI are voluntary.
