The Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) of the U.S. Department of Justice is inviting applications for the FY24 Tribal Resources Grant Program - Technical Assistance, aimed at supporting Alaska Tribes with law enforcement-specific needs. This program will provide technical assistance to help tribes establish law enforcement agencies, develop necessary policies and procedures, and address jurisdictional challenges, while also producing a comprehensive report on the current state of tribal law enforcement in Alaska. With an estimated total program funding of $300,000 and a single award anticipated, interested applicants must submit their proposals by May 15, 2024, through both Grants.gov and the JustGrants system.
