NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking to procure two custom gloveboxes for testing and evaluating spacesuit materials as part of the Artemis Suit Material Project. The gloveboxes must simulate lunar conditions and adhere to specific technical requirements, including size, ports, an oil-less vacuum pump, and a height-adjustable table, to ensure the integrity of spacesuit technology for lunar exploration. This procurement is critical for advancing the development of protective outer shell fabrics designed for lunar missions, with a project duration capped at 20 months and key deliverables including the glovebox systems and corresponding CAD models. Interested vendors may submit their qualifications in writing by 1 p.m. CST on March 3, 2025, to Cara Craft at cara.s.craft@nasa.gov, as the contract is expected to be awarded on a sole source basis to Sanatron, Inc.
