The Department of Defense, specifically the Air Force Materiel Command, is seeking information for the sustainment of the Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) systems, originally contracted to Raytheon. The objective is to extend the existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by five years, followed by an additional two years for delivery, to ensure continued operational support for the 157 fielded DASR systems worldwide. This initiative is critical for maintaining high operational availability rates and addressing challenges such as Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages, while also enhancing radar technology. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit capabilities packages demonstrating their relevant experience and ability to meet these requirements by the specified deadline.
