Sources Sought for Southeast Asia Multiple Award Construction Contracts by the Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Navy, under the cognizance of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific. This notice seeks potential sources for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for construction projects in the Southeast Asia region. The MACC will provide the Government with a contract tool that can be used for responding/supporting requirements on short notice by competing the requirement among the MACC contract holders. The scope of the contract may include conventional design-build construction projects such as new facilities, repair/renovation, and upgrades to various facility types including buildings, warehouses, bridges, wharves/piers, dredging, airfield runways, fuel storage, roads, hangars, and other base infrastructure facilities. The primary contract coverage will be the Southeast Asia region, but may include other areas worldwide. Task order project locations may be remote, overseas, without existing construction industry capacity, and not on established Department of Defense Installations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this procurement may include Subsection 237 – Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and Subsection 236 – Construction of Buildings. The Government will evaluate responses based on experience, financial capacity, and bonding capacity.
