The US Army is seeking up to six vendors for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to provide construction and repair services at US military installations in Kuwait. This contract, with a potential value of $35 million over five years, aims to ensure a flexible response to diverse construction requirements.
The scope of work under this MATOC is extensive and includes architectural design, carpentry, road repair, electrical work, plumbing, and other specialized trade services. The focus is on delivering high-quality, usable end products that adhere to international building codes, US federal laws, and local regulations.
Vendors selected under this procurement will be responsible for supplying materials, equipment, and labor to execute the tasks outlined in each individual task order. The work entails new construction, alterations, and demolition, with a strict adherence to safety, environmental, and security protocols. Each project will have its own timeline, with key project dates determined by the estimated value of the task order.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a Kuwait Business License and will be assessed based on their technical capabilities, quality assurance plans, past performance, and pricing. The government encourages applicants to submit their proposals electronically, with specified page limitations for different sections.
Proposals will be evaluated based on a set of criteria, emphasizing the organization's technical expertise, past performance on similar projects, and price. The evaluation process will consider the applicant's ability to comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Interested parties must register on the System of Award Management (SAM) website, with key dates and administrative details available on the same platform. For this opportunity, the initial question deadline has been set for July 20, followed by a sealed bid submission deadline on the same day.
