National Registered Apprenticeship’s (RA) Program Development Support and Artificial Intelligence Integration and Education in RA Support

The Department of Labor (DOL) Employment and Training Administration’s (ETA) Office of Apprenticeship (OA) has issued a Sources Sought Notice for Request for Information (RFI) #OAA-26-00024 to gather information on potential business with the capacity and experience to provide National Registered Apprenticeship (RA) Program Development Support and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration and Education in RA Support. This RFI is for planning purposes only and is not a request for proposal. The DOL proposes to award multiple contracts through two Request for Proposals (RFPs) to Industry Intermediaries to expand RA programs in new and high-growth industries and occupations, and to advance AI skills development within RA programs. The RFI outlines two tiers: Tier 1 focuses on national RA program development support across various industries, including those where RA is new/emerging and established in-demand sectors. Tier 2 focuses on AI skills development within RA programs, encompassing all RA occupations, AI-centric occupations, and AI infrastructure occupations. Vendors are asked to identify the specific tiers and sub-tiers for which they are submitting responses and demonstrate their capabilities and expertise in areas such as sector-based outreach, RA accelerator models, subject matter expertise, curriculum development, and sustainability of RA programs.
