The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the U.S. Coast Guard, is seeking sources for the procurement of various ALCO 251 overhaul parts necessary for maintenance and support of ALCO 251 engines used in Medium Endurance cutters and the POLAR class vessel. The Coast Guard requires these parts to meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards, but lacks the proprietary technical specifications and manufacturing data, which are held by Fairbanks Morse LLC, the OEM. Interested parties must demonstrate their capability to supply genuine OEM parts and access the necessary technical documentation, with responses due by November 8, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST. For inquiries, potential sources should contact Kaity George at kaity.george@uscg.mil or Shaun I. Squyres at Shaun.I.Squyres@uscg.mil.
