The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking to procure 50 electrochemical concentration cell (ECC) ozonesondes, along with payout reels and meteorological parachutes, to support the SHADOZ (Southern Hemisphere Additional Ozonesondes) stations in Quito and San Cristobal, Ecuador. This procurement aims to maintain long-term ozonesonde measurements critical for ozone profile records, satellite validation, and climate research, thereby contributing to ongoing environmental monitoring efforts. The performance period for this contract is anticipated to last approximately one year, from March 2025 to February 2026, with the instruments being shipped from the manufacturer, JH Acquisition, LLC, to the designated locations.
