The Department of Defense, through the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC), is preparing to release a Request for Project Proposals (RPP) aimed at advancing expeditionary medicine (EXMED) solutions for military operations. The initiative focuses on developing integrated medical solutions for Warfighter prototypes, including capabilities for stabilization, resuscitative care, primary care, and dental services, particularly for newly envisioned navy ships. This effort is crucial for enhancing medical capabilities in modern combat scenarios characterized by multi-domain operations, ensuring military readiness and effectiveness. MTEC plans to allocate up to $800,000 for this program, with a single award anticipated in FY25, and interested parties are encouraged to contact Dr. Lauren Palestrini at lauren.palestrini@mtec-sc.org for further information.
