The Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks quotations for a fixed-price contract. The goal is to procure access to a comprehensive semiconductor market data platform. NIST requires five licenses for a web portal that provides current and historical data, analysis, and search tools related to the semiconductor industry.
The primary focus is on enabling confident and discreet data searches on market participants, supply chains, investors, and trends. The portal must include historical data from 2018 and provide access to at least 2,000 new research documents annually, covering a wide range of semiconductor-related topics. This subscription-based service aims to keep NIST informed about the dynamic landscape of the semiconductor market, supporting evidence-based decision-making.
The contract, with a period of performance set at 12 months, requires the successful vendor to deliver up-to-date market research, statistics, and analysis on a quarterly basis. The incumbent providing these services is Gartner Inc., and the procurement aims to renew and build upon the existing contract. Vendors must demonstrate a global reach and engagement with a diverse range of semiconductor vendors, ensuring data privacy and security.
Interested parties should provide a firm-fixed-price quotation before 11:00 AM Eastern Time on August 2, 2024. According to the government's response to questions, non-price factors will be given more weight in the evaluation process.
