Description

Solicitation from the Department of Energy, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, is seeking a power amplifier for their research facility in Menlo Park, CA. The power amplifier, model 250A400, is a solid-state amplifier with a frequency output range of 10 kHz to 400 MHz and a power of 250 W CW. The laboratory requires one unit of this amplifier. The procurement is for the product only, with no on-site services permitted. The selection process will be based on the lowest price and technically acceptable method. The technical evaluation criteria include frequency output, solid-state technology, minimum power requirement, remote connection capability, and benchtop form factor. Interested vendors are requested to provide a price and lead time quotation by December 27, 2023. The bid closing date for this requirement is also December 27, 2023. Vendors are advised to send their quotes to marissat@SLAC.stanford.edu. The Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to awards over $10,000, and the completion of the Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Subcontractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis, with payment terms of NET-30 and freight terms of FOB Destination Prepaid and Add.
