Summary

Solicitation from the Department of Energy, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, is seeking a power amplifier for their research facility in Menlo Park, CA. The power amplifier, model 250A400, is a solid-state amplifier with a frequency output range of 10 kHz to 400 MHz and a power of 250 W CW. The laboratory requires one unit of this amplifier. The procurement is for the product only, with no on-site services permitted. The selection process will be based on the lowest price and technically acceptable method. The technical evaluation criteria include frequency output, solid-state technology, minimum power requirement, remote connection capability, and benchtop form factor. Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.  As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.
