    Presolicitation HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF is planning to procure a Preventative Maintenance Agreement for the Cellvisio® ultrasound machine for Perioperative Medicine. The ultrasound machine is used to monitor, assess, classify, and guide diagnosis and care of various diseases and cancer, including Barrett’s Esophagus, Bilio-Pancreatic Structures, Pulmonology, Gastric Lesions, Pancreatic Cysts, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Colorectal Lesions, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. The agreement will be awarded to Mauna Technologies, the registered trademark holder of the in vivo cellular imaging platform. The maintenance is necessary to ensure the compatibility of the machine with the existing Cellvisio® probes. The procurement includes a base year and four option periods. The acquisition will be conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
