The Department of the Interior, specifically the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), is seeking input through a Request for Information (RFI) for the Requirements, Capabilities, and Analysis for Earth Observations (RCA-EO) as part of the RCA Recompete initiative. The objective is to gather foundational data on user needs related to land imaging and Earth observation capabilities, which will inform the design and optimization of systems for environmental, disaster, and agricultural monitoring. This initiative is crucial for enhancing the effectiveness of Earth observation systems and ensuring they meet national priorities. Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their capabilities and relevant experiences by February 17, 2025, with all responses remaining confidential. For further inquiries, contact Terrence Hardy at trhardy@usgs.gov or call 703-648-7377.
