The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking information from vendors regarding the provision of Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) to support its Space Weather Observations (SWO) program. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather insights on vendor capabilities for low latency telemetry and tracking services for two significant missions: the Space Weather Follow On – L1 (SWFO-L1) satellite launching in 2025 and the dual-satellite Space Weather Observations at L1 (SOL) mission planned for launches in 2029 and 2032. These services are crucial for ensuring uninterrupted tracking and data acquisition for satellites operating beyond the range of NOAA's current facilities, thereby enhancing monitoring of space weather phenomena that can impact daily life and national security. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their responses electronically by February 2025, and for further inquiries, they may contact Suzanna Espinoza at Suzanna.Espinoza@noaa.gov or by phone at 301-628-1343.
