The Department of Health and Human Services, through the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for the extension of contracts related to the NIH NeuroBioBank Brain and Tissue Repository. This extension, lasting six months from May 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025, aims to maintain critical services for the collection, storage, and distribution of human brain tissue and biospecimens essential for research on neurological and psychiatric disorders. The current contracts, totaling approximately $103,985,994, were initially awarded in 2019 and are being extended to ensure continuity of services during the transition to a follow-on competitive contract. Interested parties may submit their capabilities by March 31, 2025, to Robin Knightly at robin.knightly@nih.gov, with a copy to Christine Frate at christine.frate@nih.gov.
