The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to modify existing Medical Support Services (MSS) contracts to extend the ordering period by five months, now set to conclude on March 31, 2025. This extension is necessary to ensure the continued provision of non-personal medical support services at Department of Defense Military Treatment Facilities across the United States and its territories, as the upcoming Medical "Q" Coded Support and Services-Next Generation (MQS2-NG) acquisition has faced delays. The MSS contracts will maintain their existing contract ceiling and pricing will remain fair and reasonable, determined through competitive task orders, reflecting the DHA's commitment to providing quality medical care.
