PROVIDE SAND STOCKPILE MATERIALS
The Department of the Interior, specifically the National Park Service, is seeking quotations for the supply of construction materials. The service being procured is the provision of sand stockpile materials and ramp maintenance materials. These materials are typically used for repairs and maintenance to access ways and off-road driving paths in Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The contractor will be responsible for providing the specified quantity of construction materials at two different locations. The first location is the Ocracoke North end ferry bulk material storage yard, requiring 2000 cubic yards of sand. The second location is the Buxton Parking Area at Cape Point Campground, requiring 1950 cubic yards of sand. The contractor must ensure that the sand meets specific specifications, including being obtained from a local source and having the appropriate gradation. The contractor will also be responsible for providing product data and sample submittal, as well as complying with additional requirements such as scheduling deliveries and providing receipts. The deadline for submission of quotations is July 30, 2024, at 5:00 pm E.D.T. For any questions or concerns, interested parties can contact William Leady via email at William_leady@nps.gov.
